How do I use Textile?
Textile is an AI messaging service for text message (SMS). All you have to do is text 1-877-749-4901 with your prompt and Textile will reply with an answer. Download the contact card and add it to your phone contacts for easy access anytime.
How much do Textile credits cost?
There are three tiers of pricing: $5/100 credits, $9/200 credits, or $20/500 credits. Buy credits here
How do Textile credits work?
Every response Textile sends you subtracts from your credits. Text responses cost 1 credit, and image responses cost 2 credits.
Is Textile conversational?
Yes! Textile remembers your last 10 messages so you can follow up, ask for clarification, request a new response, etc. For example, if you ask Textile for a recipe for pancakes, you can follow up with a request to double the recipe.
How do I know how many credits I have left?
You can check balance online, or text ACCOUNT to Textile (you will not be charge a credit).
Does Textile support image generation?
Yes! If your prompt is understand by Textile to require image generation it will let you know that an image is being generated with a message, then send the image once it is ready.
Privacy
Textile never sees any searches made and only saved your 10 most recent searches for conversational functionality. We store no information other than phone numbers and the account balances associated with them since this is necessary for operation. Your phone number is never shared, and you will never receive unsolicited messages. Textile uses third party platforms Twilio to receive and send messages, ChatGPT to generate replies, and Stripe for billing. This website stores no cookies and does not include any trackers, even for basic analytics.
